Biographical Information

I have been teaching full time at UAFS since 2000. Each semester, I teach composition classes as I love helping students improve their writing, and I love working with incoming freshman. However, my specialty is in American literature (specifically American drama and literature of place/environment), so I have developed and teach the online section of Introduction to American Literature. Additionally, I have taught a variety of classes such as Drama, Short Story, Tennessee Williams, Absurdist Literature, and Special Topics on Environmental Literature. I am always striving to find innovative techniques in my classes: teaching online, using Facebook as a learning tool, using games in the classroom, having students work with peers, etc.
