Natlynn Hayes

Natlynn HayesNatlynn Hayes is an adjunct instructor of voice at UAFS. An Oklahoma native, she received her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Southeastern State University (Durant, Okla.) and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Southwestern State University (Weatherford, Okla.). In 1991, she was recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.

Teaching and Performance Achievements

Hayes has maintained a private voice studio in Poteau, Okla., for almost 20 years. Her voice students have made OMEA and OCDA All-State Choirs, have earned superior ratings at district and state contests, have been winners at OFMC State Festival competitions, and have participated in NATS auditions. Hayes directs her church band and performs with the Cavanal Chorale in Poteau, Okla.

Musical Affiliations

Hayes has served two terms as President of the Oklahoma Federation of Music Clubs and is currently a district festival chairman and the state National Music Week Chair for the National Federation of Music Clubs. Her local membership is with the Poteau Musical Arts Society.
